Four Cities Offer Special Prayers
It will soon be 40 days since Grace said Goodbye to us. Four cities offer special prayers to mark the occasion. Calicut, the city in which Grace has just one friend prays tomorrow the 24th June at 6:30am for her. The Jesuit community prays for her in their community chapel. This is at Christ Hall , Malaparamba, Kozhikode. Mass is for Grace Augustine Veliath. Rev Fr George Pattery former Superior General for Asia leads the prayer. Fr George is a class mate of mine and a family friend. On 25th at 7 AM prayers will be offered for her at the Basilica of Our Lady of Graces at Sardhana near Meerut. Grace had her early schooling in Sardhana. The Basilica is the most frequented Christian pilgrim center in the North of India. Begum Samru built this basilica.
