Wonder No.1 -120 Law Students Glued to Child Rights
This is a World’s First. 120 young law students in a national university campus specializing in the rights of children. The CRC, the Convention of the Rights of Children the world’s fastest ratifiend human rights convention needs to be in the hearts, minds, actions of every human. What kind of miracle can these 120 students together create from their own genius and commitment?
Wonder No.2 - A World Authority on CRC As the VC
Prof Ved Kumari, has been a well known national authority on the rights of children She has been the last word on Juvenile Justice. Chief Justices, Justices, National Law Schools, UN and other human rights organizations all have listened to her and have acted upon her wisdom and counsel. The University is also preparing for a pathbreaking Global event in early 2024 on the rights of children.
Wonder No.3 - A Creative Communion on CRC
Inspired by their Vice Chancellor and guided by a creative communicator who has worked on the CRC in the last four decades, the 120 students will revisit every single article of the CRC and prepare an exhaustive resource book and digital package on each of these articles. This is a
- creative mission,
- a decoding mission
- a demystifying mission,
- a call for action mission
Wonder No.4 - The Magic of Owning a CRC Article for Life
Each participant owns one article of the CRC. The first article depends on the birth date of the participant. Only the Date is considered. Not the month or the year. So if you are born on the 6th of any month you own Article 6 of the CRC.
Each member also takes charge of one more article. You arrive at this article by adding 31 to the article that you already own. So, the person who owns Article 6 also owns Article 37.
Since there are 120 participants and we cover only 49 of the 56 articles there will be more than one person handling some of the articles. So they will team up. The books and resources you write will be credited to the team and all your names will appear on the credit.
Wonder No.5 - The Magic of the 7 Processes.
- The program begins with a Visualisation Process of all that is possible. Now that we have CRC with us how can we make the best possible communication package ever created?
- A Fishbowl discussion on CRC the story so far. We will place everything we already know about CRC so that all participants are on the same page.
- The Ownership Process. Every participating individual owns and works on two articles of CRC.
- Curating of everything that is available. Google has a lot of material. So has Youtube. We reinvent nothing. We download. We give links. In other words, we curate.

- Multiple Intelligent births of each article. People learn differently. We make sure that CRC appeals to every kind of intelligence. We recreate everything.
- We each article to suit the eight elements of building a child protection We rewrite them specifically for the duty bearers also to the rights claimants.
Wonder No.6 - The Stunning Outcome
Every article of CRC will be redone as a communication package and a resource guide. It will a digital version and a paper version. It will be an action package.
Wonder No.7 - The Perfection Process
The final outcome will be made digitally available for everyone who is concerned with children including children themselves. Everyone will have a chance to improve the package and make suggestions. But the final decision will be that of the original authors and the National Law University of Odisha.
